Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Intensi Karier Mahasiswa Akuntansi Generasi Z Menjadi Akuntan Publik
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh minat pribadi, efikasi diri, penghargaan finansial, dan pertimbangan pasar kerja terhadap intensi karier mahasiswa akuntansi Generasi Z untuk menjadi akuntan publik. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi faktor psikologis dan eksternal dalam satu model empiris yang difokuskan pada Generasi Z di Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan responden 248 mahasiswa program sarjana akuntansi angkatan 2022 di Kota Padang yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis Google Forms dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap intensi karier mahasiswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran simultan faktor internal dan eksternal dalam membentuk niat profesional mahasiswa serta memberikan implikasi bagi penguatan kurikulum dan keterlibatan profesi akuntansi.
